The ability to select one of the book covers from the "editions" tab, and have that as the thumbnail that shows up on your profile.

You can change the edition of books in your Status lists (want to read, read, currently reading, etc).

This please! It’s driving me crazy that series are all different covers so it’s not even consistent, but also not the covers I own for many. That aside, I do love this UI more than Goodreads!
Upvoted for a different reason: the translations. I read mostly in Portuguese, and even for Portuguese authors, if the book is properly catalogued, I get the English edition in my feed (cover and title).

We're storing this behind the scenes already for lists imported from Goodreads. So each list tracks the book + edition combination - even if we don't allow the edition to be editable.
This would allow the same book to show up in a list multiple times - which does make sense. I recently ran into this issue because I wanted to read the new translation of The Odyssey, but due to our organizational structure it didn't make it easy.
Marking this as Planned because it's something we'll definitely need to do at some point.
