Choose which edition you are reading

I added a book to my list of 'currently reading,' but the one that showed up was a different edition with a different number of pages and cover. It would be nice if I could specifically choose which edition I am reading and own.

This basically comes down to what data we have in the system.
Anyone can add a new edition via its ISBN 10, ISBN 13, Goodreads ID, OpenLibrary ID or Google Books ID, or Supporters/ Librarians can add books/ editions manually.
On the discord server, we actually have a "#book-data-requests" channel that can be used to request a Librarian add a particular item.
Similarly, when looking at the series list, Hardcover will claim I did not read a book by an author because I did not read another edition of the exact same book (ebook, dead tree book, audiobook). I would like the option to tell Hardcover "Please consider me listening to this audiobook the equivalent of consuming the dead tree and ebook, but only report in my stats that I listened to this book on audio."
