Add books manually | Feature Requests

Not only by ISBN, this method sometimes fails or don't show the desired edition. Also adding a book manually can solve the problem by add strange books and in other languages.

We added the ability for logged in users to add any new book to Hardcover! Once it's approved by a librarian it'll show up for everyone on the site.

We're working on this one now! The idea is that we'll have "reader added" books that have a status when they're initially added. User added books won't show up in search, but will be accessible to the people who added them.

Librarians can remove the "reader added" tag (or whatever we end up calling it) and it'll be available to everyone. That's the plan at least!
