I do believe the user should be able to customize it to their liking.
Following could be shown:
Reading Progress
Favorite Books
Engagement on Hardcover

Currently Reading

“Currently Reading” small widget with % that quickly jump into the app prompt to update it's reading progress.
"Reading Goals” small/medium widget for tracking yearly or monthly targets.
A List widget, possibly in 3 sizes, that could display presets lists such as "Books Read This Year/Month" and user custom lists for things like our TBR or Favorites
Discovery oriented widget in flexible size able to show either feeds, like Trending Books, Upcoming Releases or your Activity Feed
