One method I use a lot to find new books to read is to go to the page of an old book I loved and then get recommendations on similar books.

We've recently add a "books readers also enjoy" section on the book page. That's different from "similar books", but it's a start. We'd like to eventually have a concept of similar books, but that's a difficult problem to solve without a lot of user data. Once more readers join Hardcover and we have the data to do this we absolutely want to.
