I know a lot of users of Storygraph and Fable who really enjoy the reading streak features and stick with those platforms due to the investment into seeing a streak continue. It could be a fun feature to keep users engaged

i added it to my dashboard immediately, i love how it looks with all the colors! cant wait to see the final product.
Hello, just wanted to share that we will be shipping a basic version of this in the coming weeks - as part of the homepage Dashboard feature, we are introducing a new "Reading Activity" widget that comes with a little indicator in the top right that shows your current reading streak.
This widget is currently available in beta for our supporter users!
yes, I also want the feature that gives streak and notification on mobile as well, yelling at me like Duolingo that I should spend time reading and off the screen or work a bit as well.

This is an interesting one! I'll have to check out the feature on Storygraph/Fable to see what you mean.
We do have a "reading activity" section on your stats page which we have been meaning to update at some point because it's a bit vague (just a bunch of squares š ) and not entirely accurate. If we updated that section to track for example whether you are reading pages every day would that be what you're looking for?
Or is it important that you can customise personally what a streak would look like as well? (e.g. 1 book a week or month)
Emma For me, a streak would be reading "x" pages/minutes every day and if you log that you read on x day that will add 1 day to your streak. If we're able to customize how many pages/minutes per day to read for the streak, that would be cool, too.
I give it a vote because I reallly want to see this feature included. Iām not personally a fan, so I hope we also add an option to opt out and not track the streaks at all.
I like this mostly so that I have a fighting chance of keeping up with your streak if we start at the same time
