Just as there's an option for DNF books, sometimes you just stop reading a book to pick it up later on. It might be a me thing but it would be awesome to be able to move books out of currently reading but not into the DNF zone.

This is available as a new "Paused" status. To see your paused books, you can head to the Library section of your profile.

Polish it just a little bit though (Integration works near flawlessly but needs refreshing everytime). I know that will work as the app feature matures over time.

OMG, yes! The amount of books I read in dribs and drabs is way too big :D And now with the coloured bars showing on the Reading Activity widget (which I love!) I've been reading this one book for three years :D
This would be really helpful. I have several books that I have partially read, but plan to come back to. I hate having them in my "currently reading" status, because it's not accurate. But neither is DNF where I'm just not likely to go back to it ever and have no plans to do so.

I'd really love this. I read 90% non-fiction, and often find myself putting a book on hold to go and read another book as part of the learning journey, then come back to the original book and pick-up where I left off. I can be three books deep like this at any time, and with two 'root' books on the go, it can easily look like I'm reading 6-8 books at once, whereas I'm reading only the leaf nodes, and will work my way back up the branches. Seeing only the books I'm actively reading on the 'Currently Reading' would be really helpful.
I absolutely want this status. I also just realized that none of the well known book tracking sites have this and storygraph just added it a few days ago. I just assumed the others did because all the manga tracking sites already do.
Maybe. IMO "DNF" would serve that purpose (since it is actually true, "did not finish" doesn't mean abandoned or dropped, just stopped and didn't finish), and once you have too many options in a drop-down it can get confusing to quickly choose the one you want. YMMV of course!
Something akin to the 'On Hold' status on MyAnimeList would be amazing.
