Owned Books and Lending

Not sure if anyone else would be interested but if you have marked a book as owned I think it could be interesting to be able to note how many times you have lent an owned book to someone else. Then the same for the reverse, was the book you read borrowed from a friend, or maybe a library book?

This would make sense as part of set of personal library management tools. I see something like this making sense.
For anyone who wants this, I'd be curious what you do now for this?
Adam Fortuna I would mainly use this to keep track of the books I own - separating between physical and digital copies, probably - and know which books I've lent. It would be nice to be able to add a private note to these books, so that we could say "Lended to Adam on ", for example 23/09/2023".
Adam Fortuna right now I have old school library cards (bought at a library book sale) and I sign books out. Started doing that when a few treasures never came back to me.
