When merging books, the search field automatically displays the full title of the book to be merged. Usually you actually need to search a shorter or completely different term to find the canonical book you want.

Doing that right now means scrolling to the right and backspacing (sometimes A Lot) or highlighting to delete, both of which are painful on mobile. Can we have a one click 'clear the field' button?
