I read mostly ebooks and am not worried about which ‘edition’ I might be reading. But I do care what book cover shows on my library and lists.

I would actually prefer to not be locked into editions.

My idea/thought process goes a bit like this. When I add a book I would like a sequence.

• do you have a preferred edition y/n

• (y) continue with IBSN data etc.

• (n) what is your preferred format - physical hardback/physical paperback/audio/ebook

• what is your preferred display cover

I currently pick my edition based on the cover I like which then skews my stats. It also still doesn’t seem to display consistently.
