I'd love to have a heart button to mark books as liked. One of many use case examples: when you can’t remember a book well enough to rate it.
Along with this could be a liked tab on the profile page that has tab options within it for books, reviews and list likes (yes just like Letterboxd 😅)

Would this be similar to adding a book to your favorites?
I was thinking that on your profile you could feature some of your favorite books. Wondering how much it would overlap with what you're describing.
Ste Pretty much. Except for a "top 5 favorites" etc. I'd just make a list and pin it to the top of my profile. The heart button would be an indicator beyond the star rating to show that I loved the book and it's among my many favorites. Ideally, as mentioned, there'd be a profile tab that auto saves the books, lists, and reviews I gave a heart into a list, rather than taking the time to make a list with lots of books. A "based on books you liked" feature could then be another possibility...
