Filter books by language

When viewing e.g. the overview page for a book series, I don't need to see every single language version by default.
Filtering to my primary language and then seeing 5 books in a list of a series with 5 books would be preferable to seeing dozens of entries with most of them just other language releases of the same book.
Most of the time I'm just checking the release order anyway 😅

It would be helpful to clarify if translations are supposed to be merged into the original book (which someone's hasn't been created yet), or whether they coexist independently. And if they're merged, what happens when I search for War And Peace and I can't read the name of the author or the novel (not a real example, as currently it's a two-volume series with by Leo Tolstoy 🙂).
Why is language not a filter yet? In an Author's page, it doesn't make any sense to scroll a huge list of all of their books in all of the languages they have been published in!
Please add Language in filters!
I thought this idea referred to filtering within lists / our own profiles.
Especially now that filtering is going to be available for everyone soon, I was reading the report for april and saw all the filtering options and was disappointed that language didn't seem to be there :/
Hello! I wonder if this is a data quality problem more than anything else - e.g. looking at the Harry Potter series,

There are only the main 7 - 8 books available. In certain cases you might see duplicates of books in different languages, but that would only be because the books have not been yet merged into each other.
If anyone could comment with some concrete examples, that would be a great help, otherwise I will consider closing this feature request off.
