When opening a book page, I’d like to immediately be able to see the books type (fiction, non fiction, unknown) and the category (book, novella, short story, graphic novel, etc).

It’s objective information about the book, so it makes sense to place it in the header, where it’s clearly visible and easy to spot. I’ve added an image to illustrate this example (additional text near the date and pages)
