We should be able to change date format from the default (MM/DD/YYYY) to other languages, or at least to ISO 8601 (YYYY-MM-DD)

Darren is right. We really should be able to choose iso as standard. If not have it match to our locale
All date formats other than ISO 8601 (YYYY-MM-DD) are explicitly wrong. Please allow us to choose this format.
