Would also like to add this to the demographics filter - filter by author countries and the countries list should allow multiple selections (eg. If I want to see a list of books I've read from South Asian authors, I should ideally be able to select all the relevant countries from the demographics menu).

As an add-on, Authors should be able to have more than one country as the country they're from, because immigration is a thing :)

Agreed the publisher map is not reflective as anything amazon published automatically is assumed united states but i read a number of australian and english authors so i would be more interested in seeing where my authors come from then where their books were published.

I'm interested in this because I've read a number of english translations, but the translations themselves are published in english-speaking countries, so the existing publisher map doesn't represent the (original) book's origin.
