Integration with fediverse can be very useful in order to expand the range of users and viewers. HardCover is an excellent page and has a lot of potential. Perhaps to keep the focus on reading and books you could limit certain "tooting" features to the respective use, but still allow interactions with other instances and nodes like "Bookwyrm". Wealth lies in diversity.
