I think I have seen Authors previously requested with no implementation but:
An option to be able to set your Read/Want To Read sections to be organised into if their are part of a series/by Author.

I find it strange that if I open my "Read" or "Want To Read" list, it's just a jumbled mess (see picture) based on when I added it as opposed to being more neatly organised in Series Order/Author for a cleaner view. Having random parts of series spread out across the page makes very little sense to me, it would make more sense to go here is #1-#X of one series, then move onto another series.
